MFA - Cumulus

As part of CaptureRx’s ongoing security enhancements, we will be adding multi-factor authentication (MFA) to the Cumulus® platform before the end of this year.

What is MFA?
Multi-factor authentication (sometimes referred to as two-factor authentication) is an added layer of security to validate the user’s identity.

Why is MFA being added?
CaptureRx has a long-term security strategy that will continue to strengthen and safeguard the protected health information (PHI) that we store. This not only includes adding MFA to Cumulus, but we have also added a data loss protection (DLP) solution, 24/7 endpoint security monitoring, and MFA for our virtual private network (VPN).

How will I login with MFA?
Once MFA is active in Cumulus, after submitting your standard login credentials, you’ll be asked to perform a second short step for identity confirmation. The entire process will be quick and easy.
You will receive another email in December with our MFA launch date, and detailed instructions on how to login using MFA.

Check back at a later date for additional information.
