On January 31, CaptureRx announced its support for Capture Cares, a new organization dedicated to help fund the personal or organizational missions of 340B safety net providers and their patients in need. Chris Hotchkiss, CEO of CaptureRx, made the announcement on Thursday to a group of Community Health Centers and Pharmacies stating “at CaptureRx, our mission is to enable your mission. Capture Cares is the perfect organization to help us to do just that.” CaptureRx pledged $250,000 to Capture Cares and hopes to continue this in the years to come.
Capture Cares is a nonprofit organization dedicated to awarding grants to help fund the missions of safety net providers across the nation. If your mission is to serve the underserved in your community, Capture Cares is there to help make it happen.
Capture Cares offers three different types of grants:
Community Mission Grants, Seed Grants and Medication Adherence Grants.
Community Mission Grants
$10,000 – $25,000
This is awarded to companies with a mission that is centered around helping disadvantaged communities. This grant is used to help organizations reach their patients through various community initiatives. This can encompass everything from food drives to mobile health clinics.
Seed Grants
$15,000 – $20,000
Applying for grants can be complex and time-consuming. For safety-net providers, this often results in simply not having the capabilities to apply for grants in the first place. This is where the Seed Grants come in.
Capture Cares Seed Grants provides the receiving organization with a team of experts who will consult with the organization and provide the tools, data and processes necessary to successfully apply for substantial grants. Allowing the organization to focus on what they do best – caring for patients. In other words, it is a grant that gives you the ability to apply for larger grants!
Medication Adherence Grants
$15,000 – $20,000
Medication Adherence Grants will be awarded to organizations that wish to learn how to implement best practices in Medication Adherence and improve outcomes by helping patients manage medication regimes.
