SAN ANTONIO, Texas ─ April 22, 2019 ─ CaptureRx, a healthcare technology company and leading 340B solution provider that puts people first, today announced that Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) has selected CaptureRx as its 340B administrator for its in-store pharmacies. BGC operates under the brands of Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, Spring Market and FRESH by Brookshire’s and will leverage CaptureRx’s CaptureConnect solution to manage inventory financial flow, eligibility and compliance for the 340B program.
BGC had several requirements when selecting a 340B program administrator. One was a solution that offered an easy-to-use platform featuring the reporting and auditing tools needed to effectively manage a 340B business. Secondly, BGC wished to form a strong partnership with a solid TPA that would lead to growth and future opportunities for the company.
“CaptureRx and the CaptureConnect solution provides BGC with the ability to quickly build out a robust 340B network of covered entities across the BGC footprint, while providing a sustainable platform for our pharmacies,” said Neil Ducote, Vice President of Pharmacy, BGC. “We believe this program will provide an additional revenue stream to our current book of business, while delivering access to higher quality health services to our communities.”
“As fellow Texans, we look forward to helping Brookshire’s build their 340B program from the ground up and expand the 340B program within its communities,” said Chris Hotchkiss, CEO and Co-founder, CaptureRx. “CaptureRx can readily connect Brookshire’s with our extensive network of covered entities, in turn serving more lives and providing much-needed drug cost savings – something we are very passionate about at CaptureRx.”
Hospitals and clinics wishing to contract with a BGC pharmacy can opt to directly contract with CaptureRx, or they may keep their existing 340B program administrator. To add a new BGC pharmacy, providers may reach out to their current 340B administrator or contact CaptureRx.
