The ACE Buddy grant was created to help the employees of covered entities become 340B ACE certified. The ACE Buddy Grant partially funds the cost of the Apexus 340B Certificate (or 340B ACE certification) and provides a CaptureRx ACE certified expert to act as a mentor – or ‘buddy’.
The covered entities participating employee and the CaptureRx ‘buddy’, work together to analyze modules, create study guides, and discuss different aspects of the Apexus 340B course.
One of our latest ACE Buddy graduates is Audrey Ericson from Marshall Medical Center. Audrey graduated from the Apexus 340B certification with the help of her CaptureRx ‘buddy’.
We interviewed Audrey to discuss why she chose to become 340B ACE certified and ask her about her overall experience with the ACE Buddy program.

1.How was your overall experience with the ACE Buddy program?
“The ACE Buddy is a great program. At first, it was a little daunting, not gonna lie. I hoped that I would be able to complete the modules and not disappoint the team. Once I started on the modules I was fine and found them to be very interesting, I was learning so much, and getting anxious at times with other modules lol. The support I received from Willie and Joanne was amazing! Of course, a bonus was learning off and getting my MBTI and Gallup strength insight, the one on one with Willie was great. I feel very blessed to have been selected and grateful for the grant. Overall it is a great program helping others out and giving them the opportunity to get the ACE certification that would have otherwise not possible due to financial constraints. Thank you so much CaptureRx, Willie, and Joanne.”
2. What did you choose to get ACE certified?
“It was something I’ve wanted to do for a while, it was the next step.“
3. Has the ACE certification helped you in your day-to-day work life??
“Yes, it has. I learned a lot from the modules!“
4. Tell us a bit about yourself – what are some hobbies you enjoy?
“I have worked for the same organization for 32 years, been in the pharmacy the past 16+ years. Pharmacy Buyer/Inventory Resource for 10yrs and then now the 340B Coordinator since we became eligible in 2016. I love spending time with family, and my two grandchildren. Love wine and wine tasting, traveling, and the ocean/beach.“
